2Take the web assessmentThe test takes around 5–10 minutes and can be done on any laptop with a webcam. Your child will read two short texts, one aloud and one silently – while the system tracks their eye movements. No preparation is required, and clear guidance is provided on screen throughout.

3Pay if successfulOnce the test is complete, we'll email a link to securely complete payment. You only pay if the test is successful and you choose to recieve the full report.

Once you fill out the short form on our website, we’ll email you a secure link to start the assessment.
Your child reads two short texts — one aloud and one silently — while our system uses the webcam to measure their reading patterns. The process takes about 10 minutes and can be done anywhere quiet with good lighting.
Before the test begins, we automatically check that your laptop, webcam, and lighting meet the technical requirements. If the quality isn’t good enough to produce a valid result, we’ll let you know straight away and you won’t receive a payment link.
If your child completes a valid assessment, we’ll send you a secure link to purchase the full report. Once payment is made, you’ll instantly receive a detailed report showing your child’s reading level and tailored guidance.

You’ll just need:
- A screen at least 13″ in size with a minimum resolution of 1024 px
- A recent browser such as Chrome, Edge, or Safari
- A stable internet connection and good front lighting
At Lexplore, protecting your child’s privacy is our top priority.
We handle all personal data in full compliance with European GDPR regulations. Your child’s information is stored in encrypted databases within the EU/EEA and is never shared with third parties.
All communication between your device and our system is encrypted, and only you have access to your child’s report. You can also request data deletion at any time — simply email flex@lexplore.com or reply directly to any of our messages during the process.

It uses non-invasive eye-tracking via the laptop webcam — similar to a standard video call — to measure reading behaviour. The session is short, secure, and supervised by you at home. No personal video footage is stored; only reading data is securely analysed within our system to provide accurate insights into your child’s reading development.
When a valid assessment is completed, we’ll email you a secure payment link where you can pay easily by debit or credit card. Once payment is received, you’ll immediately get your child’s detailed report. If you’d like to assess more than one child, we also offer bulk packages — just email flex@lexplore.com to learn more.
